September Wrap-Up and October TBR

Guys I suck!!! I know the title says October TBR but that is just to tell y’all that I’m not even going to attempt planning a TBR! I still haven’t read the books on my Septemer TBR list – heck, I haven’t even finished Winter(!!!!)- so it’s basically going to be the same books for October. I currently have a really busy schedule and school, for example, has to come before blogging! 😖 But even though I’m in a reading slump and can’t find the time to pick up an actual book, my ebook reading game is going strong – well, kinda! And while I might not have read a lot of books I didn’t read anything So here we go with my Wrap-Up!

I’ve read 8 books this month! (Nevermind,  not even my ebook game is going strong!)

What I’ve read this month:

  • When We Collided by Emery Lord – I gave this book 4 Stars and you can find my review here!
  • A Hundred Thousand Words by Nyrae Dawn – I gave this book 4 Stars as well!
  • Neighbour Dearest by Penelope Ward – I gave this book 4 Stars!
  • Until Friday Night by Abbi Glines – I rated this book 4 Stars and you can find a short review here!

(Dang! A lot of 4 Stars books so far 😅)

  • Adorkable by Cookie O’Gorman – I rated this book 3.5 Stars and you can find a short review here!
  • P.S. I Like You by Kasie West – Once again I rated this book 4 Stars and have a short review for y’all right here!
  • The Deal (Off-Campus #1) by Elle Kennedy – I gave this book 4 Stars!
  • The Score (Off-Campus #2) by Elle Kennedy – I gave this book 4 Stars as well!

(I’m even boring myself with all these 4s right now…)

I hope y’all’s reading month was better than mine and let’s hope for a better October!! 😉

To end this little post I want to mention 5 cool things that happened in September! Well…to me or my life cool obviously 😄

  1. I had my 18th birthday, so now I can do anything I want! (Except of course go to casinos – but who’d want that when you can spend your money on books instead?!?!)
  2. I received my first subscription Fairyloot Box!
  3. I got Beats Studio Headphones which I have wanted for years and I am so so happy!!
  4. I made a milkshake myself for the first time and it was freakin amazing!!
  5. I went to see Finding Dory with a bunch of friends – Yes, it just came out in Germany! – and it was so much fun!

What books did you read? Did you read any of the ones I read (this month or in general)?

September TBR

Oh my gosh I AM SO LAZY!! Okay, so I had four books on my TBR list – only FOUR! And I didn’t read a single one of them! I did read a lot of ebooks and I guess that’s okay every once in a while. I actually even have some excuses for why I haven’t read the books, so let’s start with that before I tell y’all about this month’s TBR 🙂

  • Winter (The Lunar Chronicles #4) by Marissa Meyer – Honestly I think I’m kinda experiencing a Reading Slump limited to this book…I don’t even know why I haven’t finished it yet since I loved what I’ve read so far, but Reading Slumps are vicious!!

  • The Game of Lives (The Mortality Doctrine #3) by James Dashner – I have no explanation for not reading this whatsoever – I just didn’t pick it up!

  • A Court of Thornes and Roses (ACOTAR #1) by Sarah J. Maas

  • Invaded (Alienated #2) by Melissa Landers – I didn’t read these two because I would like to own them as hard copies and since I was on vacation I couldn’t really buy them… BUT I did place a big order on BookDepository  and these two are amongst the books I ordered!

There you have it! My excuses for not reading 😅 Now here come the ones I plan on reading this month!

I hope that this month I’ll be able to finish my TBR and I hope y’all are gonna have a great reading month!

Top 5 Wednesday – Books you want to read before the end of the year

Hi Guys! It’s Wednesday so it’s time for another Top 5 Wednesday Post! I don’t think I’ll get to post a lot during this week, but I wanted to at least keep up with this meme. It is hosted by Sam @ Thoughts on Tomes and you can find more about this weekly bookish meme in the Goodreads group! Now let’s start with some of the Books I want to read before the end of the year!

When Stars Collide by Micalea Smeltzer

A Court of Thornes and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

It ends with us by Colleen Hoover

Witch’s Pyre by Josephine Angelini

To kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

Most of these books I have already (pre-)ordered and I am so excited for them to arrive. I am pretty certain that I’ll read these books in 2016! 🙂

I hope y’all enjoyed seeing what’s on my TBR list for the rest of the year and thank y’all for – more or less – reading! 🙂

What books do you want to finish in 2016? Any of these on  your TBR list too?

August TBR

Hi Guys! Well, New month new luck, right? I mentioned before, that I am not really a planner when it comes to reading, but this month I actually do have a few books that I want to read (or also finish). I was also tagged to participate in the 26 books in August challenge but since I am on vacation in the US and seeing my family there I probably won’t be able to do that…(I’ll do it next month though!)  But without further ado let’s start into my TBR!

Currently I am reading Cress (The Lunar Chronicles #3) by Marissa Meyer so obviously that is on my TBR list, but I should finish it today or tomorrow.

  • Winter (The Lunar Chronicles #4) by Marissa Meyer

Well obviously I have to read this one, since it’s the last (main) book in one of my favorite book series and I just know that I’ll love it so so much!

  • The Game of Lives (The Mortality Doctrine #3) by James Dashner

This is also a final installment in a series that I like very much, and I actually started reading this book once, but for some reason I stopped reading it and haven’t attempted to do so since. I want to change that now and luckily I brought it with me to the US!

  • A Court of Thornes and Roses (A Court of Thornes and Roses #1) by Sarah J. Maas

This book is another fairytale retelling and since I love those and due to all the good things I heard about this book I chose it to be my next retold fairytale! I am really excited for this one!

  • Invaded (Alienated #2) by Melissa Landers

Once again another book that’s part of a series! This one I want to read now because I can’t buy it in Germany without spending WAY too much money and while I am already buying it why not read it right after!

So that’s really it for this month, but as usual I’ll probably find some books along the way and read them as well! Thank you guys for reading my post and I hope you will all reach your reading goals or TBR’s for this month! 🙂
